This ruling addresses significant failures that impacted cardholders like you. Here’s what happened: What Went Wrong?  The CFPB found that Apple neglected to forward thousands of charge disputes to Goldman Sachs, leaving customers without resolution for disputed charges. In some cases, this also led to incorrect negative marks on credit reports—hurting credit scores and making future financial activities more difficult for cardholders. Additionally, when disputes were complicated, Goldman Sachs failed to follow feeral law in investigating and resolving these claims, leading to long delays and unresolved issues for many.  Were you misled about interest-free payment plans?  The investigation also revealed that some customers were misled about the interest-free payment plans for Apple products like the iPhone. While Apple marketed the card’s lack of fees, purchases were not necessarily free of interest, leaving some customers with unexpected charges.
