Will Sumner

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Will Sumner is an attorney with Poynter Law Group. He earned his Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law, where he served in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and received highest honors for his clinic work. Will is licensed to practice law in Arkansas.

Before joining Poynter Law Group, Will worked as a clerk in the Pulaski County Circuit Court, where he gained valuable experience with Arkansas state court practice and procedure.

Will earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, graduating Magna cum laude. He was inducted into the Pi Sigma Alpha political science honor society and was a two-time Cleveland/Srixon Academic All-American. A four-year member of the university's golf team,  Will served as team captain his senior year and also competed in two seasons of Cross Country.

At Poynter Law Group, Will assists with complex legal matters and supports the firm's commitment to providing high-quality legal representation. Outside of work, Will enjoys golf, exercise, and spending time with his son Charlie.
