Will Sumner

LAW CLERK

Will Sumner serves as a law clerk for Poytner Law Group. He is a Juris Doctor candidate at William H. Bowen School of Law and will graduate in May of 2025. Before joining Poynter Law Group, Will worked as a clerk in the Pulaski County Circuit Court.

Will earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Arkansas at Monticello majoring in Political Science. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Pi Sigma Alpha honor society. While enrolled at UAM, he was a two-time Cleveland/Srixon Academic All-American. Will was a four-year golf team member and served as team captain his senior year. Will also ran two seasons of Cross Country.

In working with the experienced attorneys at Poynter Law Group, Will provides quality assistance with complex legal issues. He aids the firm in ensuring that all Poynter Law Group clients receive the highest level of legal counsel. In his free time, Will enjoys golf, exercise, and spending time with his son Charlie.
